Pinakothek der Moderne (Part I)

Sunday, April 6, 2003. Just a week after having brought us the first sunny and warm days this year, spring decided to give up again and let arctic temperatures and snowfall return. A good day to spend inside a museum, though. We went to the “Pinakothek der Moderne”, Munich’s gallery of modern arts.

Pinakothek der Moderne.

How do the Chinese call a large gathering of people? A cloud.

Admission to the museum is free on Sundays, hence the “cloud”. You are never alone in Munich.

View through the glass dome on top of the museum. Yet more clouds behind the glass.

A nice view, indeed.
